My style is probably different to what you have experienced before. Your first consultation will be longer, however this is nice for you to feel relaxed & have everything explained clearly. A full medical & aesthetic history is discussed, images are captured relaxed & upon animation. Kellee will educate you on what is actually happening in the face, the stages of how anatomical structure's reabsorb & why we lose fat pads & loss of collagen production. You will meet our Prescribing Dr, to say hi, be given opportunity to ask further questions, discuss your medical history & ensure that you are aware of all risks & side effects. Dr Jake also is trained in Cosmetic Injectables, he is experienced in the field. To set your mind at ease The Medical Board of Australia has governed that a trained registered Nurse can perform Cosmetic Injectables with a prescribing Dr authorising consent & the prescribed medication. Our treatments are a medical procedure, & should be performed by someone whom has studied the face & knows the anatomy well! Thankfully for you, I am very experienced in the health Industry & I treat advanced area's that I've been given the greatest opportunity to be trained by world leaders, highly reputable aesthetic professionals & Dr's in the Cosmetic Industry. As a nurse I am highly qualified & this is my full time job. Recently a Dr obviously jealous of my success decided to send a text message to a lot of my loyal & faithful patients that I am practicing illegally & that I am not authorised to do what I do. This in fact is nothing further from the truth. This statement is being investigated for defamation & is completely false. Thankfully some of these patients that received the "text" are intelligent people & each of them upon first visit & each visit & any medical change and every 12mths have a full medical check & consent & I have already explained the law & why my patients needs to speak wit the Dr on first treatment. Most people know I'm OCD, meticulous & overly organised in this systematic approach to abiding by the law. I am not in this Industry to speak ill of others, I see other Injectors "work" and you will not find me putting others down or trying to put negative vibes out there about others in the field. This is not my style. My passion is to do what I do well, give my patients the best care they deserve & wish other like minded business well, honestly the population of the area's I work in .... there is enough to go around! I get exited to see others do well & succeed. Seriously, why would you want to wish for someone to fail??? Unless you were not a good soul?? Commonly patients will sit down & rattle off all their "bad experiences". I feel for them that this has occurred & ensure them that I will be fussy & give them the best care that I can. However I refuse to buy into the conversation & add comment to the treating Nurse or dr that they had the "bad experience" with. This is just simply bad Blood & not my style. Only enough room for positive vibes here. A local nurse here in Port Stephens even refers me client's for Fillers & I do the same for female gynae/ laser treatments, as we support one another not compete with one another. We both know what we are good at & cross promote. This is healthy business. Trying to compete will always steal your positive energy & never leads to success! My approach is about health & wellness & listening to "you" and your skin goals aesthetic concerns. This experience will make you feel more comfortable about the treatment process. Cosmetic Injectables & advanced skin treatments are a personal thing. It's not a one treatment fits all; it's about tailoring each treatment to give you the best desired outcome.
